Job Description
As a Senior Supervisor Payroll, you will lead initiatives aimed at process optimization, establishing standards for new processes.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently manage and ensure the timely execution of payroll activities.
- Provide support to departments and employees on matters related to tax and social security law.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members, addressing complex operational or policy-related issues and collaborating with the Payroll Manager to develop effective solutions.
- Prepare reports and conduct analysis as needed.
- Oversee the administrative aspects of personnel-related actions, such as contract modifications, new hires, and terminations.
- Handle various requests from government authorities.
- Lead initiatives aimed at process optimization, establishing standards for new processes.
The Profile
Targeted Qualifications
- Fluency in German Language, C1 / C2 level.
- Fluency in English Language, B2 level or Higher.
- Comfortable working with the Office 365 suite of applications.
- Solid understanding of income tax and social security law.
- Several years of professional experience in payroll management in Germany, including familiarity with payroll systems.
- Ability to optimise processes and a passion to continuously develop.
- Previous management experience and are ready to take on a leadership role, guiding your team with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in SAP HCM is essential for this role.
