Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Stream Restoration Designer / Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible to ensure that all required tasks on a project from proposal to final invoice payment are completed either by themselves or by subordinates. The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for the completion and overall success of the project. Senior Project Manager will act as the main point of contact for the client on their projects. The ideal candidate presents a positive customer service attitude and understanding of ECS Core Values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of dam removal and stream restoration projects, from initial assessment and planning through permitting, design, construction and post-removal monitoring
Apply advanced knowledge of stream and restoration techniques to design and implement projects which restore natural hydrology, improve water quality and enhance habitat connectivity
Ensure all projects comply with federal, state and local environmental regulations
Provide technical guidance and oversight on sediment transport, geomorphic assessments, and ecological monitoring related to dam removal and stream restoration
Qualifications
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering degree applicable to Environmental Consulting, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting.
Skills and Abilities
The expected pay range for this role and location is $79,000-$117,000/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
