Senior Strategic Partner Manager (all genders) (Open) - Maternity Cover- Limited - 1 year

Role & Team

Our partnership with brands is a core part of Zalando’s DNA and key to our success. The Strategic Partner Management (SPM) team co-creates and implements strategic growth plans for our most important partnerships, leveraging the full Zalando Platform. You will own the holistic strategy for select brand partners in Kid's Propositions, providing commercial expertise to drive sustainable mutual growth and representing the relationship internally and externally.

Strategic Partner Managers also lead initiatives aligned with commercial goals and help develop best practices across teams and partnerships.

What You’ll Do

• Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans with clear roadmaps, coordinating initiatives across functions and solving emerging problems.
• Platform Strategy: Build a partner-focused platform vision, including financial and strategic plans, and ensure timely implementation of initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain transparency, build strong networks within partner organizations, and lead meetings to achieve desired outcomes.
• Decision-Making: Prepare and present strategic papers for senior management, approaching problems pragmatically and evaluating potential against costs.
• Financial Planning: Support commercial growth targets, integrating Zalando’s business models and tracking progress.
• Negotiations: Set annual terms, ensuring positive and viable partnerships.

Ideal Candidate

• 6+ years in consumer-focused, partner-facing, or analytical roles; experience in fashion and eCommerce is a plus.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders with an entrepreneurial, structured, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills, with good understanding of P&L in eCommerce and empathy for fashion brands.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of driving projects across organizational levels, including senior management.
