Job Description:

Your Role

• Report and analyze relevant key figures, such as Topline, costs, EBITA, Cash Flow, and CapEx, as well as provide educated interpretations of deviations and trends.
• Execute planning and financial controlling cycles (Strategy, medium-term planning, Budget, Forecast) at different aggregation levels (Legal Entity, Profit Center, Business Sector, Strategic Business Unit); coordinate with sales units and affiliated companies.
• Collaborate closely with business partners during yearly Strategy rounds and generate the respective set of Financials.
• Work closely with business functions (Sales, R&D, Operations) to develop individual budgets, tracking mechanisms, and provide insights into profitability; support the setup and evaluation of Business Cases.
• Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms that can be updated in real-time to demonstrate effectiveness and progress; implement corrective measures when deviations occur.
• Steer Cash Flow management.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities and annual audits; serve as a touchpoint for external and internal auditors.
• Perform financial Due Diligence and Post-Merger Integration (PMI) activities.
• Provide forward-looking predictions, trend analysis, scenario building, and translate these into comprehensive graphical views.
• Continuously develop processes, methods, and internal controls; integrate these into existing financial systems and policies while ensuring appropriate risk management (in line with company frameworks).
• Participate actively in finance and controlling projects.
• Support the development of digital Business Models.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field; postgraduate studies, MBA, and/or CPA are highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and controlling functions.
• Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and Corporate Reporting tools (e.g., HFM).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint) and collaborative tools (Teams, KANBAN); experience with PowerBI or Data Analytics is a plus.
• Comfortable navigating relevant metrics and KPIs such as EBITA, Market Contribution, EVA, Cash Flow, TWF, including consolidated views.
• Ideally familiar with Due Diligence processes, M&A activities, and Post-Merger Integration (PMI).
• Fluent in German and Business English.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to adapt to different work settings and audiences; demonstrates flexibility and intercultural sensitivity.
