As a Senior Startup and Field Service Engineer, you are an important interface between internal teams such as development, engineering, production and the customers on site.
Tasks and responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of systems at the Villach plant (hardware check, test runs, documentation, customer acceptance)
Creation of commissioning protocols & status reports
Responsible for error analysis and system optimization
Feedback to production and development for continuous product improvement (internal ticket system)
Responsible for carrying out test trials for new developments
Installation and commissioning of systems at customer sites in Europe and the USA
Upgrading tools, driving forward and carrying out commissioning
Troubleshooting, repairing and modifying modules and determining preventive measures
Your profile
Ability to solve problems and work effectively in a team
Technical background, e.g. HTL or Bachelor´s degree in electronics, mechatronics, automation or mechanical engineering
Ideally professional experience in technical customer support
Customer and solution-oriented with a hands-on mentality
Willingness to travel abroad (Europe, USA) up to 30-40%
Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
