Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Product Marketing Engineer (f/m/d) to strengthen our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team (Automotive MCU) in Düsseldorf. The role involves driving growth for our next-generation Automotive MCU products.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers
• Gather, define, and follow up on global customer requirements
• Coordinate projects with major automotive customers
• Collaborate with internal marketing and design teams on product roadmaps
• Coordinate with support teams for Renesas products
• Assist sales teams in customer promotion strategies
• Communicate effectively with Renesas Japan
• Report performance indicators (KPIs) to management
• Develop and lead market introduction plans worldwide
• Ensure complete product packages (documentation, kits, flyers, software) are available and train sales teams
• Create marketing materials like whitepapers, press releases, webinars

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of relevant product marketing experience in the semiconductor industry
• Experience in the automotive market, understanding of Carmakers and Tier 1 requirements
• Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and ecosystems
• Proven experience in product definition and requirements management
• Understanding of marketing concepts like Go-To-Market strategies
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, adaptable to multicultural and agile environments
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus
• Proficient with software and IT tools (MS Office)
• Preferred experience in automotive system design, E/E architecture, AI, customer negotiations, complex RfQ handling, MCU architecture, security, and embedded software
