Jobbeschreibung

Job Description

We are looking for an Expert to strengthen our R&D group in Dresden. In this position, you will be driving innovations in semiconductor technology, device, and system level to shape the next generation of CoolMOS and Wide Bandgap High-Voltage Power MOSFETs.

In your new role, you will:

  1. Develop and characterize new device and process concepts and drive their implementation until handover to manufacturing.
  2. Foster application know-how and system understanding to derive product solutions with higher value for the customer.
  3. Contribute to development projects and present results to management and expert teams.
  4. Specify requirements for unit processes and coordinate their development.
  5. Collaborate closely with other teams in the Business Unit (e.g., product development, application engineering, product marketing) as well as in Frontend (e.g., unit process development, production sustainment, physical failure analysis).

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A PhD or Master/Diploma in electrical engineering, nanotechnology, semiconductor physics, or a related microelectronic field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor technology.
  • Background in electrical engineering for system understanding in power electronics.
  • Sound knowledge of semiconductor process technology and physics.
  • Ideally, experience in project management and change management.
  • Fluent German and English communication skills.
