Job Description:
In your new role you will:
- Be the go-to-person for worldwide customers and Infineon Field Application Engineers with technical requests for automotive software
- Be responsible for enabling our customers' applications using Infineon's microcontrollers and their software products
- Support our customers' software design-in with detailed product expertise of Infineon 32bit microcontrollers
- Take up technical leadership in the area of Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) and Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Strive to constantly and consistently exceed our customers' expectations by providing technical support from product to system-level
- Compile technical concepts and application documentation
- Collaborate and share your knowledge with R&D and train FAEs and customers in the area of your technical expertise
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Industry experience of more than 5 years especially in MCAL and AUTOSAR environments, low-level drivers, BSP, embedded applications and related SW tools
- Familiarity with embedded firmware elements such as peripheral drivers (CAN, LIN, SPI, ADC, Memory, Timers, PWM), real-time execution and debug tools, as well as embedded application software
- Knowledge of complex interface drivers such as Ethernet, Graphics and external memory interfaces is a plus
- Should have worked with either ARM based, or AURIX TriCore based microcontrollers on multi-core platforms, with very good programming skills in C
- Working experience with AUTOSAR systems and tools (EB Tresos or Vector DaVinci), integration, testing and debugging MCAL drivers, exposure to ISO26262
- Familiarity with real-time operating system (RTOS) concepts, with FreeRTOS or Zephyr
- Knowledge of hardware and circuit design is a plus
- Interested in system-level debugging, willing to travel to customer sites when a need arises
- Good articulation skills for customer interfacing and proficient in English for creating technical documents based on Infineon devices
