Job summary

Da Vinci Engineering GmbH in Leinfelden-Echterdingen is seeking a Senior Specialist Operational Procurement to lead sourcing strategies and tender processes for professional services, Aftersales and RD. You will negotiate with suppliers, monitor contract status, and manage supplier relationships in a multinational project environment.

The role requires a degree in Economics/Management, 5+ years in purchasing, strong IT knowledge (MS Office + SAP MM), and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Management or a comparable field.
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or comparable fields, operational buyer experience preferred.
• Familiar with the purchase to pay process.
• Working experience in multinational / multicultural projects.
• IT knowledge (MS Office + SAP MM module).
• Legal knowledge (commercial law, software licensing, product liability).
• Proficient in German and English at negotiation level, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of sourcing strategies for Professional Service, Aftersales and RD service; ensure quality of services and cost reductions.
• Lead preparation and conducting tenders to drive cost reductions and improve service quality.
• Negotiate and select the best suppliers specifying quality, quantity and other requirements.
• Regularly review and monitor contract status and suppliers’ deliveries.
• Ensure transparency in carrying out the purchasing process.
• Relationship management and protection against supply chain constraint issues.
• Act as gatekeeper of the PO issuing process including continuous improvement.

Your profile:
