We are seeking a Senior Procurement Category Manager - Professional Services to join our Global Procurement team in Berlin, Germany, committed to delivering exceptional experiences.

Delivery Hero operates a next-generation global online food-ordering platform, with a presence in 70 countries, ensuring rapid delivery of favorite meals. Since 2011, it has grown into the world's largest food-ordering network.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced in managing the Professional Services Category (specifically consultancy firms and agencies), capable of stakeholder management, and proactive in our future growth. An exciting role awaits you in our Berlin Hero Hub!

Develop, execute, and oversee global procurement strategies for IT and non-IT Professional Services, focusing on consultancy firms (including but not limited to Big4), law firms, and agencies, to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supplier innovation.

Collaborate closely with senior leaders across business units to align procurement efforts with strategic priorities.

Manage relationships with key external partners to ensure long-term value and performance.

Lead procurement excellence initiatives, including process improvements, risk mitigation, and sustainability.

Enhance profit contribution through strategic procurement activities.

Coordinate procurement strategies with local entities as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years in category management or procurement, or equivalent experience.

Focus on sustainable profit optimization from strategic procurement.

Strong understanding of business challenges, with the ability to recommend best practices for products, processes, or services. Awareness of market competition and differentiators.

Proven ability to solve complex problems and guide others in innovative solutions.

Experience working in a diverse, global environment managing stakeholders from various backgrounds.

A team player with a creative mindset, capable of working closely with colleagues to optimize procurement functions and serve as a procurement ambassador.
