Areas of responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product stakeholders(Product Management, Industrial Design and Engineering teams) located in ourGerman HQ, Bayreuth to review cost cycles and implement‘Design and EngineerCost’ concepts on new stroller projects in development phase.
• Lead Value Analysis and Value Engineering projects with production and development teams in China from concept to production.
• Identify sections for parts/function and cost/function optimization.
• Develop modular portfolio for sharing parts across product lines with support from Engineering team.
• Explore new cost effective technologies with procurement teams.
• Develop and maintain value analysis database on product portfolio.
• Lead on continuous improvements across all workstreams for current projects and future strategies.

Profile of qualification:

• Must have a minimum degree in Engineering (industrial/mechanical/automotive).
• Additional education in Business administration preferred.
• Additional certifications related to VAVE is a plus.
• Proven experience in Value Analysis/Value Engineering and cost optimization.
• Strong managerial skills in creating and presenting Value Engineering projects.
• Previous experience in B2C consumer goods manufacturing sector desirable.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrated level-headedness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in English, with proficiency in German as a plus.
