CyberArk is seeking a Germany-based Senior Solutions Engineer (M / W / D) for the DACH region.

This role involves working closely with existing customers and designing new access approaches for both human and non-human identities. The candidate will modernize access strategies to align with current market trends and best practices, following Zero-Trust principles. They will match customer business requirements with CyberArk's Identity Security Platform from a technical perspective, articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical stakeholders.

The role combines technical expertise with sales skills, with responsibilities including driving technical wins during sales cycles, managing technology evaluations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. The successful candidate will communicate CyberArk's value, develop customer access strategies, and design solutions for complex infrastructure on a global scale.

Key qualities include adaptability in a dynamic technical environment, strong communication and interpersonal skills, organization, analytical thinking, and creativity in overcoming sales obstacles.

Responsibilities:
  1. Technical pre-sales support, including solution demonstrations and architecture reviews.
  2. Providing guidance on best practices and trends in Identity Security.
  3. Establishing and deploying standard approaches for CyberArk's Identity Security Platform.
  4. Creating tailored solutions and access concepts, advising customers through digital transformation.
  5. Leading technical proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  6. Identifying new sales opportunities within existing customer relationships.
  7. Supporting seminars and industry trade shows.
  8. Conveying customer requirements to Product Management.
  9. Developing technical knowledge of CyberArk technologies and integrations.
  10. Mentoring other solutions engineers when appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of presales or professional service experience in high-tech sales.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud solutions (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), especially with CSPs (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Cloud Security, Cloud Architecture, and Directory Services (e.g., EntraID).
  • Relevant experience in enterprise security, identity management, and policy management, especially IAM, PAM, and IGA.
  • Understanding of security concepts, roles, and compliance requirements.
  • Certifications such as CISSP or CISA are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills for needs assessment and solution design.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% within the territory.
  • Degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in German and English is essential.
