Jobbeschreibung

CyberArk is seeking a Germany-based Senior Solutions Engineer to cover the DACH region.

In this role, you will work closely with existing customers to establish and design new standard access approaches for all types of identities, both human and non-human. You will modernize access strategies to align with the latest market trends and best practices, following Zero-Trust principles. Your role involves matching customer business requirements with the CyberArk Identity Security Platform from a technical perspective and articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical audiences.

You will combine technical expertise with sales skills, being responsible for securing technical wins during prospect engagements. Managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and working with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues is essential to ensure customer satisfaction throughout all sales stages.

We are looking for someone who can communicate the value of CyberArk, improve and develop customer access strategies, and design optimal solutions for complex infrastructure and data center environments on a global scale.

To succeed, you should be comfortable in a dynamic, technical environment with a rapidly expanding customer base, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across various organizational levels, and be organized, analytical, and creative in overcoming sales obstacles.

Responsibilities :

  1. Provide technical pre-sales support, including solution demonstrations and architecture reviews.
  2. Guide customers on best practices and trends in Identity Security.
  3. Establish new standard approaches for deploying CyberArk's Identity Security Platform to secure all identities.
  4. Create tailored solutions and re-design access concepts, guiding customers through digital transformation by positioning CyberArk's platform.
  5. Lead technical proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  6. Identify new sales opportunities within existing customer relationships.
  7. Support seminars and industry trade shows.
  8. Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
  9. Develop technical knowledge of CyberArk and related technologies.
  10. Mentor other solutions engineers as needed.

Qualifications :

  1. At least 5 years of presales or professional service experience in high-tech sales with a successful track record.
  2. Strong knowledge of Cloud solutions (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), especially with CSPs like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
  3. Experience with Cloud Security, Cloud Architecture, and Directory Services (e.g., EntraID).
  4. Relevant experience with enterprise security management, identity management, and policy solutions, particularly in IAM, PAM, and IGA.
  5. Understanding of security concepts and development of security roles to meet technical and regulatory requirements.
  6. Certifications such as CISSP or CISA are highly desirable.
  7. Strong analytical skills for assessing client needs and designing solutions.
  8. Willingness to travel approximately 30% within the territory.
  9. Degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  10. Proficiency in German and English is essential.
