Responsibilities

We seek an exceptional Senior Solutions Consultant (Presales) based in EMEA, focusing on our Agentic and AI solutions. This role reports to our Global VP of Solutions Consulting EMEA and plays a key part in creating a vision for our customers. You will be the trusted advisor on Workato’s AI Agentic capabilities, providing thought leadership, best practices, and helping scale adoption to meet strategic goals.

To succeed, you must articulate technology effectively and communicate the value of Workato’s products to both business and technical audiences, with a focus on enterprise applications. You will also influence product development by conveying market needs to our Product Management team.

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be part of Workato’s Presales Team and Architecture community, owning the technical alignment with customers during pre-sales activities through workshops and interactions that define the future state for AI and Agentics.

This role is based in the EMEA region, with proximity to London, Berlin, or Amsterdam preferred. You will be accountable for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional customer teams, including data scientists, software engineers, AI leaders, and architects, to demonstrate how Workato Agentic can transform their work.
  • Partnering with Sales AEs, Solution Architects, and other teams to promote our Agentic and AI capabilities, tailored architectures, and AI use cases.
  • Explaining AI, Generative AI, and Agentic architectural concepts to diverse audiences, including digital leaders, AI engineers, prompt developers, data architects, enterprise architects, IT operations, and business functions.
  • Supporting sales with technical discovery and designing AI blueprints using Workato products.
  • Creating and delivering custom demos and AI use case presentations.
  • Facilitating technical workshops and POCs, either remotely or on-site.
  • Responding to RFIs/RFPs’ technical and functional requirements.
  • Gathering field feedback, analyzing it, and communicating insights to product and engineering teams for product roadmap improvements.
  • Assisting marketing with developer evangelism activities, including blogs, webinars, and industry speaking engagements.
  • Staying current on AI, machine learning advances, research, and tools, integrating new knowledge into projects.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field, or equivalent hands-on AI experience.
  • Proven AI Engineer with a portfolio of successful projects.
  • 6-10 years of pre-sales experience in SaaS or iPaaS organizations.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and experience supporting chat-based AI applications.
  • Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, function calling, chain reasoning, and related techniques to enhance LLM performance.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Amazon Bedrock, and Anthropic APIs, beyond just chat interfaces.
  • Experience with iPaaS, middleware, integration architectures, web services, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and databases.
  • Proficiency in Python or understanding of object-oriented programming.
