NetApp is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for Storage as a Service to translate complex technology into business value within hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

The role focuses on designing end-to-end solutions, leading workshops, and driving opportunities with account teams. You will engage with executive stakeholders and coach teams across the organization, while traveling regularly within Germany.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Drive business growth by identifying and developing strategic Storage as a Service opportunities alongside account and sales teams
• Design end-to-end solutions — leading discovery workshops, architecture sessions, and technical assessments for enterprise customers
• Build compelling business cases and solution concepts that connect technical outcomes to measurable business value
• Act as a trusted advisor to architects, technical decision-makers, and IT leaders throughout complex sales cycles
• Champion thought leadership by representing NetApp at customer events, executive briefings, webinars, and industry forums
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and global solution teams to translate customer needs into innovative offerings
• Enable and coach internal teams, partners, and customers on best practices, architecture approaches, and market trends
• Support competitive differentiation by serving as a subject matter expert on consumption and as-a-service models

What You Bring

• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise storage, data management, or hybrid cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of consumption, subscription, or as-a-service business models
• Ability to engage confidently with technical and executive stakeholders, bridging technology and business strategy
• Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles, from initial engagement through close
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — you make the complex feel clear
• A growth mindset — you're curious, collaborative, and energized by continuous learning
• Fluency in German and English
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany
• Background in managed services, service providers, or cloud platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with sectors such as telco, financial services, manufacturing, or public sector is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure, cloud, or storage technologies is a plus.
