Job Description:

We are looking for a Solutions Architect (ProServ) to join our world-class Customer Experience (CX) team. Solutions Architects at Grafana Labs provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation, guiding them to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

Our SAs need to be hands-on. You should understand the ecosystem of services our customers use and work with them to ensure success with Grafana. This includes understanding why Kubernetes is popular, its relation to Prometheus, logs vs. metrics, pets vs. cattle, and more.

Their role involves managing the onboarding and adoption lifecycle, delivering training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project assurance, and consulting for complex needs. They support customers virtually or on-site, monitor support requests, and collaborate with product teams to improve offerings.

Success in this role requires being hands-on, comfortable with command-line tools, and engaging with customers, managing projects, and delivering technical solutions. Basic project management skills are also essential.

What you'll be doing:

• Work effectively with customers, including executives, project managers, and IT staff.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions like data visualization, migrations, and enterprise architecture.
• Lead functional workshops, document requirements, and design solutions.
• Work swiftly to accelerate solution delivery.
• Adhere to standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on Grafana Labs and related technologies.
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, support, and professional services teams.
• Enjoy working with leading-edge technologies to help customers succeed.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in deployment and project management.
• Experience with observability (o11y).
• Knowledge of deploying and using observability stacks, preferably with Grafana products.
• Proven success in delivering enterprise customer projects.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and innovate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Visionary mindset to advance the company.
• Experience with *nix and Windows Server administration.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Tanka).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Systems architecture design skills.
• Software engineering skills or ability to read code (GoLang, JS, TypeScript).

In Germany, the base salary range is €104,000 - €125,000, with actual compensation based on experience and skills. Benefits include equity, bonuses, and other listed perks. Compensation ranges are country-specific; if applying from elsewhere, the recruiter will discuss local pay ranges and benefits.
