A leading company in renewable energy is seeking a Technical Manager in Frankfurt. This role involves researching market trends, guiding customer opportunities, leading project bids, and overseeing contract preparations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and relevant experience in the wind power sector.
1. International Market Insight: Independently research key market elements in regional target markets, including industry development trends, access laws, regulations, technical requirements, key customer needs and plans, and competitors' product strategies. This aims to optimize competitive, product, and bidding strategies to improve win rates.
2. Customer Business Opportunity Guidance: Understand the customer's internal structure and decision-making process. Develop relationship maintenance and guidance strategies for key customers, promote new products, technologies, and project solutions, and enhance customer recognition of GW's offerings. Communicate with EPC parties or third parties to exchange technical and project information, increasing the influence of the company's technology and leading to project recommendations.
3. International Project Bidding: Lead bidding efforts for major, key, or complex projects. Analyze customer bids and pain points, develop full lifecycle solutions, coordinate resources to resolve issues, and provide feedback for product and technology improvements where competitiveness is lacking.
4. Contract Pre-production Preparation: Oversee or guide contract negotiations and technical risk assessments of winning projects. Prepare technical plans and disclosures for project implementation.
5. Capacity Building: Participate in and organize personnel and system capacity-building activities as per the development plan.
6. Others: Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. 3-5+ years of experience in wind power, renewable energy, or power equipment development and sales, with knowledge in areas such as machinery, electrical systems, grid connection, wind resources, civil engineering, etc.
3. Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills, capable of handling unexpected situations effectively.
4. Keen market sensitivity with the ability to identify and guide customer business opportunities.
