What you'll do
  1. Lead efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share for Finance & Spend solutions within named accounts in the German Utilities & Public Sector market.
  2. Initiate contact and develop interest with key decision makers, creating an influence map.
  3. Understand customer concerns, follow up appropriately, resolve conflicts in scheduling and resources, maintaining customer focus as a top priority.
  4. Develop sales best practices to secure repeatable and expansive opportunities across accounts.
  5. Work closely with procurement, logistics, finance, operations, and HR departments, fostering collaboration and understanding of the overall business.
  6. Engage with international procurement departments, suppliers, and markets, gaining exposure to various cultures and business practices.
  7. Educate target accounts on SAP Finance & Spend solutions and conduct account planning for strategic deals in Germany.
  8. Develop strategic sales plans for Finance & Spend opportunities and communicate these plans with Sales Management & Sales Engineers.
  9. Maintain relationships with co-selling partners and third-party software vendors.
What you bring
  • At least 3+ years of professional sales experience with SAP solutions (such as Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing/Contracts, Finance/AP, ERP, Business Technology Platform, or Workforce Management), SaaS solutions, VMS, or Procurement.
  • Experience in the German Utilities & Public Sector market is a plus.
  • Relationships within procurement communities (e.g., CPOs, procurement directors, heads of procurement).
  • Insights into the business network or procurement market opportunities.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling or liaising at the C-level with corporate clients.
  • Professional, self-starter attitude with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to achieve individual and team goals, demonstrating strong communication skills and complex sales cycle management.
  • High energy and drive, thriving under pressure with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (minimum C1 level) and English.
