Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Solution Architect for IT/OT Security Platforms to define the technical vision and architecture for strategic service offerings. You will collaborate with factories, cybersecurity teams, product groups, and partners to design scalable, secure solutions that support Zero Trust and digitalization across IT/OT domains.

You will translate business, security and operational needs into governance models, standards and roadmaps while enabling AI-ready data flows and platform

Qualifications

• University degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of OT infrastructure and Brownfield integration in industrial environments.
• 3+ years of experience with ManageEngine or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Endpoint, Asset and Service Management architectures.
• Ability to translate business and security requirements into scalable platform architectures and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the target architecture for IT/OT Security - ManageEngine.
• Define secure IT/OT communication concepts based on Zero Trust and develop architectures for remote access, machine connectivity, and application communication.
• Assist Siemens factories in integrating security and management solutions into brownfield environments.
• Translate requirements into scalable architectures, governance models, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with factories, service owners, vendors and partners to establish architecture standards and drive service adoption.
• Enable data-driven and AI-supported use cases by designing architectures for secure data flows, automation, analytics, and interoperability.
• Shape the journey to AI-native OT security services.

As a Solution Architect for our IT/OT Security Platforms you will define the technical vision and architecture for strategic service offerings. You will work closely with factories, cybersecurity experts, service managers, product teams, and technology partners to design scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that support Siemens' Zero Trust and digitalization strategy. Our OT Zero Trust Platform enables secure IT/OT communication through identity-based connectivity concepts, while our OT Patch Management enables centralized endpoint management, patching, hardening and compliance for enterprise and production-related devices.

• You evaluate new technologies and architecture patterns and contribute to the continuous evolution of Siemens' IT/OT security and platform landscape.
• You enable data-driven and AI-supported operational use cases by designing architectures that support secure data flows, automation, analytics, and platform interoperability.
• You actively shape the journey to AI-native OT security services.

This is how you’ll win us over

Education

You have a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a comparable qualification.

Experience and Skills

• You possess strong expertise in Zero Trust and OT Security Architecture, including concepts such as identity-centric networking, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, and industry frameworks such as NIST SP 800-207 and IEC 62443.
• You have long years of experience ( 5 + ) with OT Infrastructure and Brownfield Integration (of at least 3+ years), including industrial environments, legacy systems, machine-to-machine communication, industrial protocols, network segmentation, and hybrid IT/OT architectures.
• You bring solid knowledge of Endpoint, Asset and Service Management Architectures, including endpoint management, asset discovery, software deployment, patch management, CMDB, and IT service management platforms.
• You are experienced in Platform and Enterprise Architecture (of at least 3+ years) and can translate business and security requirements into scalable technical solutions, governance models, operating concepts, and technology roadmaps.
• You possess strong capabilities in Platform Integration, Automation, AI and Analytics, including API-based integration, monitoring, automation, operational data flows, and AI-ready platform design.
• You have 3-5 years of experience with ManageEngine or similar technologies.

• You work in a structured and strategic manner and are comfortable operating in international and cross-functional environments.
• You provide your support during Central European Time Zone (CET).
