Centric Software is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our growing planning team in Germany.

This is a remote role, based within Germany.

The successful candidate should possess solution and technical skills in a fast-moving environment.

You will need to be a leader, quick-thinking, and driven to provide planning solutions that deliver value to our clients.

You will work directly with clients, internal, and external partners to lead the technical design and configuration requirements, ensuring best practice planning architecture.

About the Team

The Centric planning team is leading the market in delivering first-class planning solutions for the fashion and retail industries.

It is a dynamic and driven team of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and driving customer project success.

The team members are all home-based in different countries around the world.

The role reports into the Client Services Director.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize design solutions in line with clients’ requirements, leveraging the Centric Planning platform.
• Work closely with Centric solution delivery teams and clients.
• Collect, understand, challenge, and communicate business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
• Define configuration and data requirements to meet business processes.
• Assist in the preparation of system test and validation plans.

Skills

• Scientific or technical degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of database queries (MS SQL Server).
• Knowledge of planning applications at strategic and operational levels.
• Track record in consultancy within IT, Merchandising, or Supply Chain planning.
• Experience in planning management systems and tools implementation.
• Previous business and implementation experience.

Plus

• Advanced knowledge of database queries (MS SQL Server).
• Knowledge of data science.
• Power BI knowledge (dataset modeling and dashboard design).
