Job summary

Primetime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Support & Integration (C++) to join the Snke Anatomy Applications team in Germany. You’ll handle escalated issues, provide third-level support, and contribute to development when priorities allow, interfacing with engineering and customers.

You will work with modern C++20 services while maintaining legacy codebases and ensuring reliable integration of Digital Patient Model services in customer environments.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in C++ software engineering.
• Experience in technical support, application support, integration support, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for reproducing issues and identifying root causes.
• Ability to work with modern and older C++ code bases for debugging and support.
• Familiarity with distributed backend systems and gRPC services using Protocol Buffers.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with several years of professional experience in C++ software engineering and technical support or integration roles. You should be able to investigate complex issues independently, communicate technical findings clearly, and work confidently with both modern and legacy code bases.

• Several years of professional experience in C++ software engineering.
• Experience in technical support, application support, integration support, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when reproducing issues, analyzing logs, and identifying root causes.
• Ability to work with both modern and older C++ code bases for debugging and support when necessary.
• Experience with distributed backend systems and gRPC services using Protocol Buffers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings clearly and concisely.
• An independent, structured working style and the ability to drive investigations to a solid conclusion.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience supporting healthcare or other regulated software products.
• Familiarity with Git and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, observability, logging, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with DICOM or other medical data standards.
