Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d)

This is what you bring to the table

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer on multiple topics (This is a rough approximation - we know how hard it is to measure development experience)
• Working experience in agile teams and understanding of Scrum practices and ceremonies as well as knowledge & experience with payments integrations and processing
• Professional experience with NodeJs, Typescript, Javascript, MongoDB, PostgresDB, Redis, AWS services, Docker, Git, CI/CD
• Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, test-driven development, automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment
• Knowledge of various design principles like DDD (Domain Driven Design), SOLID etc. and architectures like Clean & Hexagonal
• Good understanding and practice of writing unit, integration, end-to-end & contract tests
• Ability to communicate, present an argument, and convey complex ideas
• Working experience on UNIX environments (preferably Mac)
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal

• Designing and developing secure and well-tested features for our innovative Insurance Platform
• Responsible for delivering business goals through innovative designs and solutions
• Working closely with Product Managers, Designers, Platform Engineers and other stakeholders on business and technical challenges
• Developing maintainable and scalable code that meets world’s best conventions and practices
• Driving technical improvements for product quality, performance and security
