YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You build consumer-facing software that “just works” in Java
• You are responsible for designing end-to-end distributed systems on the cloud
• You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem
• You work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience: You have a university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with proven experience working in a technology environment building cloud-native applications, ideally in dynamic and fast-paced settings
• Language: You have extensive and advanced development experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Architecture: You have experience designing distributed systems with event-driven microservices architectures using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ, or RabbitMQ
• Platform: You are comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and IBM Instana to monitor and ensure system reliability
• Communication: You possess excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across geolocations
