Trade Finance and Lending

Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is a core and leading department in Corporate Bank, working with clients worldwide. It involves techniques to mitigate and transfer trade risks to the financial sector, using bank funding to enable domestic and international trade flows. The focus is on supporting the physical flow of goods across borders, primarily using goods, receivables, and cash generated from trade as security.

The group is updating its IT platform to enable new services, automate business processes, and reduce transaction costs.

Would you like to join a successful in-house technology team designing and building its strategic platform for TF&L? The architecture supports capabilities like loan lifecycle management, collateral management, and integrations with Cash, Treasury, Risk, and Finance systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/x), you will focus on delivering a stable, reliable, high-performance event-sourcing platform, migrate business products from legacy systems, and participate in all stages of agile delivery: specification, design, implementation, testing, and support.

If you enjoy developing high-quality code, using static analysis tools, and thorough testing, we want engineers who bring their vision and experience to our team.

Your key responsibilities

1. Write clean, testable code implementing business requirements and maintain automated tests
2. Read and reverse engineer legacy solutions as part of migration efforts
3. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of core functionality and APIs
4. Engage in coding, automated testing, and work with QA on test automation frameworks

Your skills and experiences

1. Strong math, algorithms, and problem-solving skills
2. Good knowledge of Core Java (8, 11), Spring, SQL (Oracle is a plus)
3. Ability to read complex code and reverse engineer solutions is a plus
4. Experience with JUnit and Cucumber for test automation
5. Basic knowledge of Linux
6. Fluent in English, both spoken and written
