Job summary

Lissi GmbH in Germany is seeking a skilled software engineer to help build digital identity wallets and verifiable credentials. You will work on cutting-edge protocols and contribute to scalable, secure web applications.

You will plan, design, deploy, and monitor solutions, collaborate across teams, and mentor others. If you enjoy hands-on development and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid environment in Frankfurt or Berlin, apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building scalable, secure web software.
• Proactive, collaborative and willing to take responsibility.
• Expert programmer in at least one modern language (Spring/Kotlin preferred).
• Experience deploying containerized apps in Kubernetes and Helm; Azure knowledge preferred.
• Fluent in English and proficient in German.
• Familiarity with Verifiable Credentials, EIDAS, OpenID standards, and ID-Wallets is a plus.

Your mission

Your tasks will include

• Planning and development of new solutions for digitally verifiable credentials
• Assist in project planning and estimation based on technical considerations
• Design and implementation of scalable software architectures
• Deployment, operation and monitoring of our software solutions
• Technical support and onboarding of our customers
• Becoming an expert in your field and keeping track of technological trends

Your profile

You should apply if you:

• You have already gained extensive experience in building scalable and secure software products with web technologies
• You demonstrate initiative, enjoy interacting with people, and are ready to take on responsibility
• You are an expert programmer versatile in at least one modern programming language, ideally you have experience with Spring and Kotlin
• You know how to deploy your containerized software in the cloud using Kubernetes and Helm and ideally you are familiar with Azure
• You know how to establish and improve a continuous delivery process
• You are fluent in English and you are proficient in German
• Ideally, you already have experience with Verifiable Credentials, EIDAS, OpenID standards, and ID-Wallets, and you have a passion for digital identity

You should not apply if you:

• Only can work remotely - we want to meet in person at least 1-2 times a week
• Not based in Germany
• Not yet allowed to work in Germany
