About the Role:

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Customer Experience Channel Management and Shared Services (CXCMSS) team, part of the Enterprise Applications and Architecture division. In this role, you will develop scalable Go-based backend services and React-powered UIs to support customer service operations across chat, phone, email, and social channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement high-traffic backend APIs and UIs
• Integrate third-party platforms and AI/ML tools to boost agent efficiency
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to system architecture and lead implementation initiatives
• Mentor engineers in best practices, code quality, and scalability
• Participate in cross-time zone development and communication

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Go and experience with large-scale distributed systems
