Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior data and analytics engineer to design scalable backend services for analytics and clinical applications. You will own the semantic layer across SAS, MCC, and Power BI, and develop high-performance Power BI datasets and dashboards while modernizing Tableau dashboards.

You will work with a cloud-native microservices architecture on GCP BigQuery, applying SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices, and mentor junior engineers while translating business needs into robust data

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in data, software engineering, or analytics roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on BI development experience.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, RLS, performance tuning).
• Tableau (complex dashboard development and maintenance).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in large-scale data environments.
• Experience with GCP / BigQuery (data modeling, performance optimization).
• Knowledge of backend development using languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C#.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
