Your Role

As a Senior Java / C++ Backend Developer , you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-performance, scalable backend systems for IoT security. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, secure, and efficient solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for a large-scale cybersecurity platform.
• Implement and maintain high-performance microservices in Java and C++ .
• Work with real-time data processing and distributed computing to enhance system efficiency.
• Experience in creating design documents – High Level & Low Level Design Documents
• Configure and manage Ubuntu operating systems , including bare metal server setup and troubleshooting.
• Support technical sales and solution engineering teams in pre-sales and product deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to optimise performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Experience with cloud providers, especially GCP .

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and C++ .
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs .
• Expertise in high-performance computing, multithreading, and low-latency systems .
• Hands-on experience with Ubuntu OS configuration and management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Solr, MongoDB, etc.).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with modern software engineering practices such as CI / CD, Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban), and test-driven development.
• Strong skills in networking (TCP / IP) and cybersecurity concepts are a plus.
• Ability to create High-Level and Low-Level Design Documents .
• Fluent German language skills are mandatory.
