With our intuitive and high-impact tools, we help businesses comply with the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and reduce embedded emissions across global supply chains.CBAM is the world’s first carbon border tax — a groundbreaking policy that turns emissions into a financial cost. This shift incentivises low-emission production and greater transparency. However, compliance is anything but simple : data is fragmented, formats vary widely, and the pressure to get it right is high. That’s where we come in. kolum simplifies compliance and enables companies to reduce carbon costs strategically and effectively.

As our Fullstack Engineer , you’ll take on a key role in building and scaling our platform from end to end. You’ll work across both the backend logic and the frontend user experience — helping us optimise performance, ensure scalability, and build delightful, high-quality interfaces. You’ll collaborate closely with our CTO and an experienced, fast-moving founding team. It’s a unique opportunity to shape not only our product and tech stack, but also the engineering culture of a mission-driven ClimateTech startup from the ground up.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and evolve our platform from backend APIs to frontend UIs
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, performant services
• Help prioritise and execute the product roadmap with a pragmatic mindset
• Play an active role in shaping a strong and thoughtful engineering culture

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, (Senior) Software Engineer or similar
• Solid experience with our tech stack : we use NestJS / TypeORM / Node.js in the Backend and ReactJS / Typescript in the Frontend
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS , Azure , or GCP ) and modern frontend deployment tools (e.g. Vercel , Netlify )
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Bonus : experience in early-stage startups or working with complex, regulatory-focused domains, and a clear product mindset
