An international research university is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Clinical and Translational Informatics group. This role focuses on developing a health data platform to improve diagnostics and healthcare solutions. Candidates should have a Master's in Computer Science and at least 5 years of software development experience, particularly in RESTful APIs and containerization. This position is fully onsite in Germany.

Your role
The successful candidate will join the Clinical and Translational Informatics group, led by Dr. Venkata Satagopam, which focuses on bridging translational medicine and bioinformatics through innovative data integration, visualization, and advanced analytics. Our research integrates bioinformatics, data science, and IT solutions to advance digital health and translational medicine using a "bench-to-bedside" approach. By harmonizing and analyzing diverse biomedical data, while focusing on secure data processing and predictive modeling, we aim to drive progress in translational medicine, improving diagnostics and healthcare solutions. You will join our team working on IDERHA (Integration of Heterogeneous Data and Evidence towards Regulatory and HTA Acceptance), a pioneering European project funded by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). IDERHA is building a federated health data platform to enable seamless integration and analysis of diverse biomedical data.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in developing the IDERHA platform, collaborating with top researchers across Europe, and contributing to innovations that enhance healthcare and medical research.
