Senior Software Developer (f/m/d) Data Technologies

We’re flexible! We’re happy to receive applications in English or German.

Your Tasks

1. Transform our Data Landscape by reviewing and implementing modern data artifacts.
2. Design specific data-based solutions for different parts of the organization using state-of-the-art technologies and security tools.
3. Develop design criteria for the ECC Data Domain.
4. Analyze our Data Technologies portfolio for potential improvements and derive and implement new features.
5. Support our business departments in creating requirements and translating these into software designs to enhance value.
6. Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, regulations, procedures, and best practices.

This position focuses on Software Development, not Data Engineering. You will support our Data Technologies team as a Software Developer (f/m/d).

Your Skills

1. You have a degree in Information Technology/Engineering or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist.
2. You have several years of demonstrable experience, ideally in an agile/scrum environment.
3. Extensive experience in Java, Python, and the GCP ecosystem is important.
4. You are familiar with Requirements Engineering and Cloud-Based Data Technologies solutions, preferably on GCP or Azure.
5. You possess strong analytical skills.
6. Experience in banking and/or commodity environments is a plus.
7. You can communicate effectively in Business English and German at an intermediate level.
