Summary

For the field Radar & EW Products, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer JAVA (f / m / d) at the Ulm site for the department Application S / W Engineering, starting as soon as possible.

The Spectrum dominance Application S / W Engineering area deals with the design and implementation of user software for RADAR and electronic warfare systems within a software product suite with various application areas. Efficient and innovative technologies, processes, and tools are used in development.

Your Tasks

• Design, implementation, testing, and documentation of complex software modules (Java Swing, Java 2D Graphics; real-time signal analysis displays) for the further development and maintenance of a product software.
• Prioritization and coordination of development activities within the team.
• Creation, testing, and evaluation of software requirements.
• Conception, creation, and extension of software architectures.
• Integration and testing of segments and systems.
• Perform qualification tests of product and project releases and obtain customer approvals.
• Cooperate in release planning and support the preparation of offers.

Your Profile

• Graduated in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a comparable field.
• Many years of practical experience in Java programming (frontend/backend, client-server, TCP/UDP services, containerization).
• Extensive experience in defining software requirements, creating software architecture, and software design.
• Practical experience in project management and knowledge of basic information technology (electromagnetic spectrum, signals, splitters, receivers, radar, Radar EW).
• Enjoy teamwork and good communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Motivated to work on extraordinary high-tech products at the limits of physics.
