Responsibilities include:

1. Java backend development: mapping complex logistics processes of our shipping customers into technical concepts to connect their in-house systems to our platforms.
2. Reviewing customer requirements and advising our Professional Services team on implementation possibilities of business logic.
3. Designing, implementing, and updating customer-specific features independently. Managing and prioritizing support tickets.
4. Participating in the installation and operation of customer interfaces on test and production systems. Providing technical 3rd level support for our interface platform.
5. Ensuring code quality through reviews and best practices, sharing knowledge, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
6. Proposing process improvements for customers and internal teams.

Candidate requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in backend Java development in a project-oriented environment.
• Experience in developing and maintaining bidirectional interfaces using Java, Spring, Apache Camel, Soap, and XML.
• Ability to ensure work quality and work well in an international team speaking English daily.
• Motivation to participate in digitizing the logistics industry and understanding modern technologies.
