FPI Food Processing Innovation GmbH + Co KG is the innovation driver for the global market of poultry processing solutions in the BAADER Group. Your future tasks will include:

• Development of business application back- and frontend machine digitalization solutions in the food processing value chain, such as
  • tracking and tracing of products
  • machine monitoring
  • maintenance support
• Shape the design of the software solutions and make sure that the software is released quickly and with high quality by implementing state-of-the-art DevOps practices (continuous integration, automated tests, infrastructure-as-code)
• Take responsibility for our development and system management infrastructure in the cloud
• Select technologies and frameworks needed to build the platform and business applications
• Be in continuous collaboration with UX/UI designers, product owners, and dev colleagues
• Be a mentor for other developers

Qualifications, experiences and personal skills you possess:

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification / work experience
• Relevant work experience in software development as senior developer
• Experience in development of IoT or manufacturing systems would be an advantage
• Solid work experience in working with .NET, Angular or similar, Docker, Bash and Azure/AWS
• Knowledge of service architectures, design patterns, clean code, reactive programming, distributed systems and development of public APIs for platforms
• Experience in the application of agile software development process models, automated testing and DevOps
• Good communication skills in English
• Creativity, strong problem-solving skills, an analytical approach, hands-on mentality
