Dyson GmbH in Köln is seeking a Social Media Specialist to support the Owned Social Media Specialist and Media Managers by executing plans, monitoring activity and adopting new ways of working to power Dyson's growth in the D2C space.

You will help define Dyson's social future, work cross-functionally with global teams, localize campaigns for the DACH market, and ensure assets are timely, on-brand, and compliant with guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in social media or online marketing
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (IG, TikTok)
• Fluent in English and German
• Excellent written and verbal communication

You will help define the future of Social at Dyson, working with cross-functional teams as they develop their socialexpertiseand working closely withthe Global Media and Creative Teams, informingglobalstrategies.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Content Management

Support asthe first point of contact for asset and content management for paid social media activities, ensuring assets are collected, organized, quality-checkedand shared with relevant stakeholders on time.

Reporting

Prepare daily,weeklyand monthly performance reports against agreed KPIs, highlighting key learnings, flagging potentialissuesand sharing first recommendations to improve performance and ways of working.

PaidSocialMedia

Support the planning,coordinationand execution of paid social media activities across relevant platforms, ensuring campaigns are set up according to agreed plans,timingsand brand guidelines.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to support smooth campaign delivery, includingbriefing, follow-ups, timelines, assetchecksand status updates.

Localize and execute global social media campaigns fortheDACHmarket, working collaboratively withGlobalteam, theCreativeteamand internal stakeholdersto ensure content is locally relevant,accurateand aligned with Dyson standards.

Monitor live campaign activity and social media trends, escalating observations, risks or opportunities to the Owned Social Media Manager and Media Managers where relevant.

Contribute to continuous improvements in campaign processes, contentworkflowsand platform best practices by bringing a hands-on,curiousand detail-oriented approach.

ABOUT YOU

Experience & Education

1-2 years of relevant experience with social media or online marketing

A relevant bachelor’s degree from a reputable University is preferred including Marketing, Business Administration, Management etc.

Strong understanding of social media landscape and current trends in social media and online marketing

Strong understanding of Social Media Platforms and Content Creation for these Platforms (mainly IGand TikTok)

Familiar with Social Publishing and Social Listening tools

Fluent in English and German

Hands-on mentality, dynamic and collaborative personality, interest of working in a fast paced and continuously changing environment
