Zusammenfassung

Solaris in Berlin is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE to design monitoring and alerting standards, and to establish frameworks for SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs. You will champion reliability practices, design resilient systems across data centers, and implement tools to automate operations.

You will build generic dashboards for services and products. The role requires 6+ years in DevOps/SRE or software engineering, programming in Python/Java/Go, and business English; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering in a high-growth environment.
• Programming experience in Python, Ruby, Java, or Go.
• Expertise in Service Discovery / Service Mesh to manage microservice communications.
• Experience in analysis of capacity requirements and addressing exhaustion before it affects SLOs.
• Designing systems that automatically failover across data centers.
• Experience with Chaos Mesh or Gremlin to proactively test system weaknesses.
• Designing infrastructure with a focus to limit blast radius of any single failure.
• Break down high-level architectural goals into deliverable tasks.
• Evaluate third-party tools and act as technical point of contact.
• Safely rolling out significant platform changes across the organization.
• Understand the unique challenges of the financial sector.
• Experience in participation of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Business proficient English (written and verbal). German language is a plus.
• Curious self-starter with agile mindset and hands-on mentality.
