Position: Senior Scientist (m/f/x) Conjugation and Purification

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the conjugation and purification platform at the Halle site, supporting our new precommercial suite in Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) development. You will ensure scientific and technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead scientific initiatives for the site
• Manage a team of operators in manufacturing precommercial or commercial products
• Support personnel development and foster a collaborative culture
• Establish development capabilities and support across all sites
• Collaborate closely with customers for ongoing development
• Oversee change control processes with customers and internal teams
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and GMP standards
• Manage risk, CAPA, and remediation strategies
• Report regularly to leadership and escalate issues as needed
• Support new technology development such as digital twin and DOE analysis
• Coordinate scope changes
• Participate in scientific conferences and presentations

Qualifications:

• PhD in biotechnology, chemistry, or biology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in research or development
• Experience with customer interactions and ADCs preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software
• Fluent in German and proficient in English
