Tasks

Your Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining several LC-MS systems, ensuring smooth operation of routine laboratory tasks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with analytical instrumentation.
• Evaluation of targeted methods and data interpretation.
• Adjusting and updating laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Clear and structured documentation in the Laboratory Information Management System.
• Effective time management to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams.
• Working in shifts with variable working hours and weekend duties.

Requirements

Your Profile

• Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading a commercial laboratory team of at least 5 people in a commercial setting.
• Experience in financial management of a commercial laboratory is a big plus.
• Strong expertise in LC-MS techniques (including micro-LC), including troubleshooting, method development, and validation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and outside organizations.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with LIMS and laboratory inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with Sciex MS and Shimadzu LCs is a massive plus.
• Willing to do shift work and travel.
