Job Description:

Senior SAP MM Consultant - Data Migration (German Speaker) required by Whitehall Resources for a 12 Month extendable project assignment for our client based in Germany.

Start Date: 1st April
Duration: 1 Year project
Capacity Required: 50% initially, 100% later
Delivery: Predominantly remote, but there may be phases that are onsite. Workshops, UAT, Go-Live etc.
Location: Lower Saxony, Germany

Requirements:

Senior Consultant for support in the area of data migration for materials management

Skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of SAP MM: Understanding of the relevant master data (material masters, purchasing info records, orders, stock levels, etc.).
2. Dependencies on SAP WM or Stockroom Management for inventory migration.
3. Experience with the SAP Migration Cockpit: creation and management of migration projects, use of predefined migration objects and customization of mapping structures.
4. Data analysis and preparation: ensuring data quality, cleansing and transforming source system data into the required SAP format.
5. Knowledge of Excel and CSV: editing migration templates and structured data maintenance.
6. Error analysis and troubleshooting: Identifying and correcting import errors in the Migration Cockpit.
7. Basic knowledge of ABAP or LSMW (optional): Useful for more in-depth customizations or alternative migration methods.
8. Project language: German
