A leading company is seeking a Senior Sales Strategy & Excellence Manager to enhance their sales strategy. This role involves strategic analysis, target setting, and performance tracking, requiring strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in business analytics or sales strategy and be fluent in English.
Overview of the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Sales Strategy & Excellence Manager to bring our sales strategy to new heights, reporting to the Head of Sales Excellence. In this important role, you will lead high level strategic projects in the sales environment, which includes target planning, growth strategy, sales forecasting, business operations, compensation plans and data evaluation and analysis. You will not only make the recommendations, you help make them happen. You drive vision and purpose, conducting long-term strategic planning and looking around corners to identify business trends.
What you'll do:
Strategic sales analysis: You identify growth opportunities, help optimize sales processes and work on the long-term sales strategy.
Target setting & performance tracking: You develop realistic and challenging sales targets and monitor target achievement in close coordination with the sales teams. You create new sales programs, reimagine base business models and champion sales technology capabilities that shape the future of sales distribution strategies.
Analysis of Midmarket & Enterprise Sales: You evaluate sales opportunities, sales potential and customer behavior in our strategically relevant segments and find specific recommendations.
Provide management reports: You collect and evaluate sales figures and market trends and create meaningful reports for management that provide visibility into key revenue drivers, performance against targets, and regional sales effectiveness.
Data-driven decision-making: You derive well-founded recommendations for action for our sales organization based on KPIs and market analyses.
Development of forecast models: You develop data-based models to forecast sales trends and assess potential market risks.
Competitive analysis: You analyze the market position of mobile.de in the competitive environment and develop strategic measures from this.
Who you are:
5+ years of experience in business analytics / strategy, revenue strategy, sales analytics, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
Strong analytical skills with experience working with sales performance metrics & forecasting models
Result-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations for executive leadership.
Outstanding teamwork skills, with a proven ability to foster collaboration and teamwork
Commitment to high-quality standards and willingness to challenge norms
You are business fluent in English
