Position Overview

We are seeking a strong and charismatic leader with a proven track record in leading oncology or specialty sales teams on a national level. Working closely with the DACH & NL Group Country Manager, Medical Affairs Director, and Associate Director Access, to improve the overall success of the leadership team and the ability to overachieve sales and revenue targets.

Operational excellence is a key driver in our business. Close collaboration with the commercial operations team in Zug is essential for success.

This role will be based in South Germany, with regular travel to our office in Munich.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Main task is leading the GER sales team to fully leverage the best-in-class product Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score in breast centers and key accounts across Germany.
  2. Developing a national sales strategy as a member of the DACH leadership team.
  3. Implementing and optimizing the KOL management and peer-to-peer education strategy.
  4. Optimizing the existing account management system in constant exchange with the sales excellence team in Zug and DACH leadership team.
  5. Potential-driven territory management for all sales territories, with specific quantitative and qualitative goal setting, and optimization of the business review process with the Key Account Manager team.

The Sales Manager will lead the Key Account Manager team in strengthening collaboration with national and regional Key Opinion Leaders, together with the Director of Medical Affairs. The focus will be on implementing the company strategy and developing Excellence Centers among TOP accounts. Building relationships with experts in Gynecological Oncology, Oncology, Pathology, Urology, etc., to increase support for the overall company strategy.

Demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities is essential, including attracting and retaining top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, leading with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and setting a clear vision to energize teams for the future.

Effectively managing, supporting, and guiding your team by delegating tasks, assessing performance, and providing feedback and training opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Significant pharmaceutical/diagnostics sales team management experience, ideally within oncology or specialty business.
  • Strong experience and success in selling complex products in medical oncology and/or diagnostics.
  • Marketing or managed care experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experienced and motivated coach capable of developing top-performing sales teams.
  • Flexible to support coaching and KOL management effectively.
  • Life science degree or clinical experience is a plus.
  • Clean GER driver’s license.
