haberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is currently looking for an International Senior Key Account Manager - German Speaker for the Industrial Manufacturing Industry.

This project aims to hire different professionals within the Sales Team to strengthen the division, accelerate business growth through new customer acquisition, and enhance relationships with existing clients and focus on some particular sectors. These new team members will play a pivotal role in revitalizing the company’s commercial strategy and driving long-term success.

Requirements for the role They will report directly to the Commercial Director and will be responsible for developing and expanding customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities within the target market.

The primary objective is to build and grow a strong customer portfolio, ensuring revenue growth and profitability. Key responsibilities include :

  • Experience in the Industrial Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
  • Customer Portfolio Development : Strengthen, retain, and expand the existing customer base while ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Active Prospecting : Identify and acquire new clients and explore new applications within the market while maintaining profitability across all projects.
  • Strategic Portfolio Management : Oversee the development of the customer portfolio managed by sales engineers, ensuring the proper execution of the commercial strategy.
  • Business Oversight : Lead and monitor high-value projects with significant technical and financial impact.
  • Client & Internal Coordination : Act as the primary interface between clients and internal teams, managing commercial, technical, and financial aspects while adhering to cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
  • Team Leadership : Manage and guide a sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving commercial success. The role requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to drive business growth, and a hands-on approach to executing the commercial strategy.
  • Fluent in German and English. French is a plus.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, curiosity, rigor in activity planning, and the ability to manage priorities effectively. Industry knowledge is essential, good sales skills.

The person joining the Sales team will be expected to help manage and develop new clients for the company within the European markets.
