The Business :

After a successful launch in Germany in 2022, the company is expanding its footprint and seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and establish lasting relationships with top employers in the region.

The Role :

As the Solo Sales Lead in Germany, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the customer base, securing new partnerships, and shaping the company's presence in the German market. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end sales process, offering innovative solutions to partners in the higher education careers space. This is a high-impact role, blending consultative sales with strategic market development, supported by an experienced UK team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • New Business Development : Identify and secure partnerships with top employers across Germany, managing relationships from initial contact to long-term collaboration.
  • Client Solutions : Understand partner recruitment needs and present creative, tailored solutions that enhance their hiring strategies.
  • Partner Success : Collaborate with the internal Partner Success team to deliver seamless campaigns, ensuring strong results and driving contract renewals.
  • Market Insights : Stay ahead of industry trends to help shape the growth of the German business unit and maintain a competitive edge.

What You Bring :

  • Proven Sales Success : Extensive experience in commercial new business within the German market, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Consultative Selling : Ability to understand client needs and develop innovative, customised solutions to address them.
  • Independent Leadership : Confidence and self-motivation to work autonomously as the face of the company in Germany, with the support of an established team.
  • Fluency in German : Native or fluent German speaker with excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results.
