Job Description:

Main purpose of this role is to drive, improve, and develop all sales controlling related processes, systems, and projects within Ardagh Glass Packaging – Europe. This includes reporting, analysis, planning, and supporting internal customers and product costing activities.

The role also involves system improvements, automation (e.g., SAP-COPA, BW, SAC), volume analysis, and coordination/steering of Intercompany Sales and Purchases.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Collaborating with and supporting Finance and Sales Teams both within and outside of AGP-E.
  2. Ensuring strong links to production and operations reporting.
  3. Providing accurate and timely analysis and reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  4. Participating in ad-hoc tasks as required; acting as a key contact for the European Sales Team.
  5. Supporting sales volume planning with regional Sales Teams.
  6. Identifying and implementing process, system, and reporting improvements for cross-functional efficiency.
  7. Prioritizing projects related to the above areas.
  8. Playing a key role in annual product costing and analysis.
  9. Encouraging innovative thinking and change management.
  10. Driving SAP Best Practice standards and standardizing procedures across locations.
  11. Ensuring timely completion of SOX controls.
  12. Travel up to 25-30% may be required based on business needs.

Education & Training

  • Master's or university degree in finance, controlling, or related field

Experience

  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing
  • Strategic thinking and independent work capability
  • Strong analytical and IT skills (SAP, BW, SAC, PowerBI, MS Office)
  • Excellent communication skills in German or Dutch/Polish/Swedish/Danish and English
  • Flexible, organized, results-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems effectively
