About the role

As a Robotics Software QA Engineer (m/f/d) at Agile Robots, you will be an integral part of a skilled team, working to ensure the success of projects using our innovative robot programming solutions. You will collaborate with project partners to deliver tailored end-to-end solutions and work closely with product development teams to integrate project features and apply your learnings.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive QA strategies across multiple domains and teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and hardware/software-in-the-loop setups.
  • Plan and execute test coverage to ensure high standards for all releases.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives and refine QA guidelines for diverse teams and projects.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams to facilitate automated testing.
  • Conduct API and performance testing using modern tools (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
  • Manage bug tracking and test management using tools like TestRail, X-Ray, Zephyr.
  • Promote best practices in software testing, automation, and QA methodologies organization-wide.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional QA engineering experience.
  • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Playwright, or WebdriverIO.
  • Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Expertise in API testing tools like Postman, Rest-Assured.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines (especially GitLab), and Docker.
  • Solid Linux environment experience.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, X-Ray).
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a passion for quality software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Beneficial Skills
  • Experience in automation, robotics, vision, and control systems.
  • Knowledge of Robot Framework, Docker, and hardware/software-in-the-loop testing.
  • Understanding of networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in German or Chinese is a plus.
