We are seeking an (Senior) Analyst for our Risk Analytics team with a hands-on attitude eager to impact our risk assessment by mitigating risks related to affordability and solvency for external end customers in a balanced risk decision environment. The team focuses on defining, developing, and continuously monitoring our risk strategy. In line with our vision to become the most human-centric FinTech, the Risk Analytics team develops customer risk strategies tailored to different markets and ecosystems. The organization is characterized by technology-driven rapid learning and decision-making cycles, guided by a strong purpose to create value for all stakeholders. We have a strong presence in DACH, NL, and Nordics, with ambitions to expand further within Europe, including the UK.

The main responsibilities of the (Senior) Risk Analyst (m/f/d) include:

1. Actively contribute to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts
2. Continuously improve data analysis and business processes to support product expansion into new areas
3. Provide risk insights for pricing requests and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders for analytical requirements
4. Establish best practices for ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses
5. Participate in the cross-functional "Risk Data Science" team working on significant changes in machine learning-based models
6. Work with BI experts to enhance monitoring, reporting, and application of advanced analytics
7. Collaborate with functions such as Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance
8. The role reports to the Risk Analytics & Steering Lead, who reports to the Customer Risk Functional Unit Lead

What you should bring:

• Proven experience in data analytics, ideally within the fast-growing payment or fintech industry
• Relevant experience in credit risk management
• Proficiency in SQL (mandatory); knowledge of Python and R is a plus
• Experience working in an international, agile, cross-functional environment
• Embrace of new technology and understanding of data and advanced analytics potential
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach
• Language skills: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus
