We are seeking an (Senior) Analyst for our Risk Analytics team with a hands-on attitude who is eager to impact our risk assessment by mitigating risk related to affordability and solvency for our external end customers within a balanced risk decision environment. The team focuses on defining our risk strategy, its development, and ongoing monitoring and steering in alignment with company goals. As part of our vision to become the most human-centric FinTech, the Risk Analytics team develops tailored customer risk strategies for various markets and ecosystems. Our organization thrives on technology-driven rapid learning and decision-making cycles, guided by a shared purpose to create value for all stakeholders. We have a strong presence in DACH/NL & Nordics and aim to expand further within Europe, including the UK.

The main responsibilities of the (Senior) Risk Analyst (m/f/d) include:

1. Actively contributing to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts
2. Continuously improving data analysis methods and business processes to support our expansion into new areas
3. Providing risk insights for pricing requests and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders for analytical requirements
4. Establishing best practices for ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses
5. Participating in the cross-functional "Risk Data Science" team working on significant changes in machine learning-based models
6. Collaborating with BI experts to enhance monitoring, reporting, and the application of advanced analytics
7. Working closely with functions such as Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance
8. Reporting to the Risk Analytics & Steering Lead, who reports to the Functional Unit Lead Customer Risk

What you should bring:

1. Proven experience in data analytics, ideally within the fast-growing payment or fintech industry
2. Relevant experience in credit risk management
3. Expertise in programming languages like SQL (mandatory), with Python and R (nice to have) for complex analytical tasks
4. Experience working in an international, agile, cross-functional environment
5. An interest in new technology and the potential of data and advanced analytics
6. A strategic mindset coupled with a strong operational ability to execute tasks
7. Language skills: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus
