We are looking for a (Senior) Risk Analyst - Finance (m/f/d)

Position: unlimited, full-time. Join our team at our locations in Berlin, Amsterdam, Heerenveen, Verl, or Baden-Baden – flexible working conditions available.

We seek an (Senior) Analyst (m/f/d) for our Risk Analytics team with a hands-on attitude eager to impact our risk assessment by mitigating risks related to affordability and solvency for our external end customers within a balanced risk decision environment. The team focuses on defining risk strategies, developing them further, and continuously monitoring and steering according to these strategies. In line with our vision to become the most human-centric FinTech, the Risk Analytics team develops customer risk strategies for various markets and ecosystems. The organization is characterized by technology-driven rapid learning and decision-making cycles, guided by a strong purpose to create value for all stakeholders. We have a strong footprint in DACH, NL, and Nordics, with ambitions to expand further within Europe, including the UK.

The main responsibilities of the (Senior) Risk Analyst (m/f/d) include:

• Actively contributing to a high-performing team of credit risk and analytics experts
• Continuously improving data analysis and existing business processes to support product expansion into new areas
• Providing risk insights for pricing requests and collaborating with internal stakeholders for analytical requirements
• Establishing best practices for ad-hoc and deep dive analyses
• Participating in the cross-functional "Risk Data Science" team working on major changes in machine learning-based models
• Collaborating with BI experts to enhance monitoring, reporting, and application of advanced analytics
• Working closely with functions such as Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, and Finance

What you should bring :

• Proven experience in data analytics, ideally within the fast-growing payment or fintech industry
• Relevant experience in credit risk management
• Expertise in SQL (mandatory); Python and R (nice to have) for complex analytical tasks
• Experience working in an international, agile, cross-functional environment
• Understanding of data and advanced analytics potential
• Strategic thinking with a proactive, results-oriented approach
• Language skills: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus
