• Develop and expand ICBC Frankfurt Branch's corporate client portfolio in Germany and international markets.

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Frankfurt Branch was established in June 1999, which holds the universal bank license of Germany and is a correspondent bank for first class clearing of Euro and a member of the Target2 and SEPA of the Euro Clearing System. ICBC Frankfurt Branch is also the Euro Clearing Center of ICBC Group.

Tasks

• Develop and expand the Bank's corporate client portfolio by identifying and acquiring creditworthy corporate clients in Germany and international markets.
• Conduct market and industry analysis to identify target clients, new business opportunities and potential growth areas, while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients and new-to-bank (NTB) business.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with senior management and key decision-makers of corporate clients. Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business models, strategic priorities and financial needs and translate these into appropriate client strategies and account plans.
• Identify and develop suitable business opportunities across corporate banking, lending, trade finance, cash management and financial markets products, working closely with relevant internal functions to structure tailored solutions.
• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end client and business process, from initial client acquisition and needs assessment through credit assessment and approval, contract execution and implementation, in accordance with the Bank's internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Credit, Financial Markets, Compliance, Legal and Operations to ensure efficient, accurate and compliant execution of transactions and client-related activities.
• Monitor client, industry and credit developments, identify potential risks and opportunities, and contribute to sustainable portfolio growth in line with the Bank's business strategy and risk appetite.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management and/or Credit, preferably gained within a commercial and international bank in Germany.
• Proven experience in corporate client acquisition, business development and relationship management, ideally with an established network of corporate clients in Germany.
• Solid knowledge of corporate banking products, lending and credit processes, as well as the German corporate and financial market.
• Strong business development, communication, negotiation and analytical skills, combined with a clear commercial and customer-oriented approach.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Additional Chinese language skills are an advantage.
• Strong initiative, ownership and resilience, with the ability to work independently and effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
• High risk awareness and the ability to balance business development objectives with the Bank's risk management framework and applicable regulatory requirements.
