About the opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Associate to join our expanding team. In this role, you will:

  • Have the chance to take responsibility and impact the company from day one

  • Be exposed to financial / risk related data and have the opportunity to get insights in one of the most highly valued startups

  • Take ownership for statistical and financial reports to the regulator

  • Safeguard a sound reporting governance and documentation as well as monitoring the regulatory landscape

  • Assist in the quality assurance of reports and optimisation of existing processes

  • Support in the technical implementation and connection of the financial data warehouse

  • build strong relationships with upstream reporting functions and data delivering teams (e.g. Risk Management / Treasury / Accounting)

What you need to be successful:

Background:

  • A university degree with a focus on Finance, Audit or comparable majors

Skills:

  • Fluent German and English skills

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem solving with tight deadlines.

  • “Can-do” and “Hands-on” mentality and a focus on achieving goals

  • Ability to comprehend and narrate financial records for external stakeholders

  • Flexible and able to work with changing priorities

  • 1-2 years of work experience in Finance and Accounting in a fast paced environment preferred

  • Knowledge of IFRS/HGB as well as understanding for and experience with internal controls preferred
