N26 is looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Associate to join their dynamic team in Berlin. This role involves making impacts from day one, taking ownership of regulatory reports, ensuring governance, and collaborating across financial functions. Ideal candidates should have a university degree in Finance and be fluent in both German and English, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

In this role, you will:
Have the chance to take responsibility and impact the company from day one
Be exposed to financial / risk related data and have the opportunity to get insights in one of the most highly valued startups
Take ownership for statistical and financial reports to the regulator
Safeguard a sound reporting governance and documentation as well as monitoring the regulatory landscape
Assist in the quality assurance of reports and optimisation of existing processes
Support in the technical implementation and connection of the financial data warehouse
build strong relationships with upstream reporting functions and data delivering teams (e.g. Risk Management / Treasury / Accounting)
Background:
A university degree with a focus on Finance, Audit or comparable majors
Skills:
Fluent German and English skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem solving with tight deadlines.
“Can-do” and “Hands-on” mentality and a focus on achieving goals
Ability to comprehend and narrate financial records for external stakeholders
Flexible and able to work with changing priorities
1-2 years of work experience in Finance and Accounting in a fast paced environment preferred
Knowledge of IFRS/HGB as well as understanding for and experience with internal controls preferred
